That is a very valid point, someone came up with this scheme and who ever it was( or they were ), should be named and shamed.

That would really affect their social standing in whatever golf / yacht club they are part of.

Affect their social standing? The way Ireland works for them they'll be hailed as heroes who "worked the system" by the suited "establishment"

For "worked the system" read availed of loopholes/light or non-existent regulation/lack of will to prosecute and jail the vast vast majority of white-collar crooks knowing that if they were ever caught up with and found to have done anything illegal they would be as likely to get actual jail time as Cobh Ramblers are of winning the League of Ireland.
