There seems to be a lot of selective outrage and protests against Israel though. We’ve even introduced selective legislation against them.
Don’t attack Israel with rockets and slaughter 1200 of their citizens breaking a ceasefire would be a good starting point.

Sometimes it’s about what can be done and what can’t. You have admitted yourself you don’t have a bull’s balls about what can be done with the Iranian regime to put an end to their oppression of their own people and interference in the region, but as for Israel we know if the EU used its economic might it would very likely bring Israel to heel.

America did start a war on terror after 9/11 though but went after countries that did not have links to Al Qaeda excl Afghanistan.

That is a really simplistic statement Crusty.. Hezbollah are far more powerful than the Lebanese army most of whom are part time because the country can’t even afford to pay them!

The majority of Lebanese people would want them out than want them there, but how do they go about achieving this? Civil war is a certainty.. so when Benji and Trump put the gun to their heads last year the choice was a civil war they would probably lose, or Israel blowing the shite out of the place indiscriminately. Lebanon has a non stop history of war and various catastrophies so the last thing people want there is more of it

Israel are detonating entire villages and towns, bombing buildings with minimal notice and happy to kill everyone in it to hit a single target - this isnt acceptable under any criteria other than their own

The Lebanese army has 80,000+ personnel with far stronger air, land and naval capabilities than Hezbollah, they also have the backing of the US, France and probably Israel if they went up against Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has approx 20,000 fighters but would be miles ahead with rockets & drone technology and combat experience.

Unfortunately civil war is an almost certainty at some point when you allow a clandestine fundamentalist army to gain a foothold in your country but I don’t think the Lebanese are as helpless as you’d make out.

We’re in agreement on Israel’s policy of having no issue levelling a city block to hit one target, A lot if not most of their operations are completely over the top with severity and loss of civilian lives.

The best we can all hope for us Bibi and psycho’s in his cabinet are voted out this year and a more moderate government comes into power.

But let’s not forget Hamas & Hezbollah need to be permanently nullified and Iran need to wind their neck in for there to be any chance at peace, Isreal have more than enough blame to take but not all of it.
