Another bit of their navy was struck off the coast of Sri Lanka.

The Yanks are not messing around, they don't want any military capability left after this is over.

Let's hope they don't run out of ammo. I'd say they'll sail away in a couple of weeks leaving the whole region in meltdown.

Where was the chance of peace when Iran are financing and arming Hamas, Hezbollah and the houthis. Supplying drones to Russia to attack Ukraine?

I'd say sorry they shipped them out now. Apparently it's now a case if Iran have enough cheap Drones/missiles to outlast limited number of expensive air defence systems that Israel and Gulf states have to repel the attacks and apparently the rate of fire from Iran slowing down.
Doesn't appear so far if Iran have got any significant game changers in terms of weaponry in return for all their generosity to Putin!

Will it be possible to achieve regime change without troops on the ground though? Hardliners still in control on the ground and I'd say will be brutal in suppressing any attempts to topple them, achieve reforms or hold democratic elections.

Worry with that from their POV is that China may start shipping serious tech to Iran to rebuild and improve its attack capabilities. More cheap drones with few hypersonic missiles included could seriously test defences of Israel and Emirates!

Still buys Israel and the US time to stay ahead with tech. Also Irans economy is in the shitter. That was the main motivation behind the demos not liberalisation.
