How much does it cost to text a premium rate phone line?

Another minor celeb, another RTE bucket of shite, another cheap request to spend money in order to benefit a premium phone company and the producers of this reality tv shite.

Don't get me wrong, I like John Creedon, from ever since he was on ERI back in the day, but no way am I going to give money to some "independent production company," and some premium phoneline provider, just so that some Dumpland hospital can get a small percentage of the takings while the Mercy in Cork can't get money to open it's brand new A&E Department. And as for RTE? Well if they donate the advertising revenue they get for the commercials they screen during the show, then maybe they could start pleading the poor mouth.

Well, texts cost 60c and 42c go directly to charity so for a starter, thats good news. Ultimately, i am not TELLING you to vote, i am only stating that we have 1 person out of 13 from Cork on the show and if you WOULD LIKE to vote, above are the details.

Each member chose a charity (BTW the contestants get paid nothing!!) and John chose Crumlin as he spent quite a lot of time there with his daughter and grandaughter.

Unless you, yourself have been there with a sick/terminally ill child, then you will have no idea how much renovation or help that this hospital needs.

But, i am sure i am not going to change your opinion, and to be honest i dont intend do. This was only intended for those who would like to vote.

In fairness, 96FM raised €280,000 for Cork based childrens hospitals in their radiothon.

Hopefully this will help to eliminate the need for parents and relatives to have to travel 255 kilometres on third world infrastructure to Dublin for paediatric services.

Meanwhile the Dumpland based media (RTE, Independent Newspapers, etc. etc.) are covering the parochial argument about what part of Dumpland the new replacement "National" Childrens Hospital should be built in.

Keep it Cork.


Drop 60c into the collection box in the mercy and that way you can be sure that sick children will get all the money, and that no premium phone line providers or "independent television production companies" can take a share.


And yes, I am well aware that the "celebs" don't get paid. They are being used just as much as the nominated charities in this sickening spectacle.
