I think some of the comments on here are tasteless in the extreme. It's not nice to mock the recently deceased, whatever you think about the circumstances.

RIP in all that and her story is sad..... but every 5 minutes she was on some show or other going on and on about it. I was sick of hearing about it.

Indeed. How selfish of her to continue to highlight how state shortfalls were going to lead to her death.

Ridiculing the LLS obsession with morbid topics is a separate thing altogether.

Her death was only announced a few minutes and some saw fit to use it as a stick to beat the government with, yes she was left down, yes she had
great courage, but very distasteful IMO to use her passing for political points,

No body is saying anything in distaste or saying anything against her as a person.
But she was on the Late Late every second week as well as on radio shows, the late night shows, the news, nationwide... how many times did we need to hear her story? Yes it was awful what happened and it shouldn't have happened but to now put her forward for sainthood? come off it.
