Whatever about our own internal issues here, immigration, housing or abortion and gay marriage a while back...at least they have some credibility by virtue of living here and experiencing life here.

The issue in Venezuela is hugely complex, same as Iran at the moment. You'd think maybe let the dust settle and see what the people living in these places support before jumping in blind.

Are these people not absolutely embarrassed to be out protesting about Venezuela then to be called out by actual Venezuelans!

I’m know a Venezuelan guy, I txt him to see how he’s getting on and to get his take on the situation as he’s obviously far more knowledgeable than me on the subject and it’s pretty clear below how the people in that county feel.

Maybe an idea would be talk to these people before organising protests and telling them what is best for them

I reckon he is on a bit of a solo run, A lot of SF reps have backed off the pro migrant scene with an eye on regaining votes, Daithi continuing to be very vocal in his pro migrant feelings, as he is entitled to be.
