Utopia for asylum seekers

Can someone please explain to me why this is allowed. Asylum shopping

He travelled to Turkey in May 2019 where he stayed for six months. In October 2019, he states that he was rescued from the sea in Greece, and that he then stayed in Greece for three months. He left Greece on 30 January 2020 and travelled through Barcelona, Luxembourg and then to Ireland where he arrived on 4 February 2020 and sought international protection, completing the initial forms on that day.

Ireland’s immigration policy is now effectively open door.

We are where Sweden were in 2015.
We will have similar problems in the next few years followed by more restricted movement.

Theres nothing particularly controversial in pointing this out.

The idea that we are somehow uniquely different to Sweden and Denmark and our experience will somehow produce a different end result through lax immigration policiy/control is laughable.

There are Ukranians that have been living in various different countries around the world now moving to Ireland. Some haven’t lived in their own country for years. No questions asked.

Obviously an economic migrant. Should be fucked right back to Greece. We're being bled dry by shit like this.

Ireland can be proud that we have such a good approach to immigration, lots of people seeking asylum and they want to come here, it is great they want to come, we should be celebrating this.

SilkY's a Russian bot.

Flooding Western Europe with refugees is Kremlin policy.

Put the welfare state under enormous pressure and sow political division.
You just said Ireland has an open door immigration policy, you are the right one here. Legal immigration should be allowed but there are a lot of cases of asylum seekers really needing to come to our country, we showed humanity to Ukrainians are we not going to do that for Afghanis or Africans? That is just being selfish.

You would not say I am being pro Kremlin for agreeing with allowing Ukrainian refugees into Ireland, why is it different for non Europeans? Have I suddenly become pro Kremlin for having immigration from outside Europe?

France, Germany and British have much higher numbers of immigrants and while it is a strain on our resources they are lucky they can come here, Europe is a peaceful continent why, many of those coming are genuine refugees that are fleeing terrible conditions, we must prioritise them.
