The Asha Degree case is a baffling one. She was afraid of both the dark and storms yet walked out into those conditions in the middle of the night and vanished.

Asha Jaquilla Degree (born August 5, 1990) went missing at the age of nine from Shelby, North Carolina, United States. In the early morning hours of February 14, 2000, for reasons unknown, she packed her bookbag, left her family home north of the city and began walking along nearby North Carolina Highway 18 despite heavy rain and wind. Several passing motorists saw her; when one turned around at a point 1.3 miles (2.1 km) from her home and began to approach her, she left the roadside and ran into a wooded area. In the morning, her parents discovered her absence. No one has seen her since.

The Lori Vallow case is unfolding rapidly. missing kids, dead exes, batshit religious stuff.

The tangled web surrounding doomsday couple Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell seems like it was ripped right out of a movie script: two missing children, the mysterious deaths of the couple's previous partners, and the couple's involvement in a "religious cult."

The mystery began to unravel when the Rexburg Police Department began the search for Lori's missing children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "J.J." Vallow. When asked about the whereabouts of her children in November 2018, Chad and Lori lied to Rexburg Police and disappeared without a trace the very next day.
