5 pubs in a row . One of which was on anglesea street. I don't ever recall seeing 5 pubs in a row anywhere else except for union quay. Between the age of 20-30 i worked in 4 of them. Donkeys ears for a few months then Charlie's when the man called charlie bought it. I then worked in the lobby for 2 years before spending 6 years in the phoenix.i still pop in to Charlie's and el fenix when i go out in cork city which isn't as often as i would like sadly, Happy days tbh when pubs were pubs and didnt cost you a fortune to go out .
