So looks like the Democrats have 3 leading contenders for a presidential run in 2028 now, AOC, Mamdani and Newsom.


Prop 50 is a direct rebuttal of Republican gerrymandering that may well backfire, but is still demonstrating they're not taking it lying down.

Its also known as the "Election Rigging Response Act", democrats have created a very deliberately and openly gerrymandered congressional district map that would target the seats of 5 republican members in the state, if Texas goes ahead with their plans to redistrict to give the republicans 5 more seats in the house.


The approach is not without its risks, but it got 70% support at the ballot box.

Crazy that the US is now voting explicitly in favour of vote rigging.

I reckon he'll get a lot done in NYC, he has a lot of atomic power, outside requiring anyone elses approval.

Small changes can make a big difference to a city like NYC.

Look at Boris Bikes, small enough spend, but had an absolutely enormous impact in London.
