As of June 2024, 97% of its workstations, over 103,000 computers, are running GendBuntu, the Gendarmerie's custom Ubuntu-based Linux distribution. I was in Malaga after the nationwide power cut a few weeks back. All of the train notification screens were showing a default Ubuntu screen.

To be fair, if it's an enterprise server, chances are, it's running Linux.

Windows server is very rare for running enterprise AI applications. Personally not come across it to date.

They should be all gone now though, since .net core, and being able to run that shit in a container.
