Ireland has a lot of goodwill towards President Trump & the feeling is mutual. There’s a genuine friendship there.
Unbelievable scenes what a weekend…For once in my life I can commend Mehole he played a blinder being Trumps dicey Reilly, keeping our resident Communist President in check, everything ran like a well oiled clock…Trump is in the IRA Army council….We really are in the driving seat and Andy Burnham is a nice guy but a lefty..Andy is up shit creekIf Trump had gone to some PR Guru, and said "I need to have the best possible weekend in Ireland", I don't think anyone could have done better than how the last few days ended up.
Literally nothing went wrong, he showed a bit of personality, and he's after throwing a right grenade into the united Ireland carry on.
An excellent weekend for Trump/Irish relations IMO
He must have a fresh nappy on for this pic, no smell to turn Shane's grin into a grimace.
Cutting tariffs on Irish whisky in his final hours on Irish soil was Trump's own version of "The Parting Glass". A true showman. We Irish love a rogue, and Mr. Trump is just that.
It doesn't surprise me that he got such a warm welcome here, not least from our own Cork Taoiseach![]()
Do you genuinely believe anything that comes out of that fool's mouth? The perennial pointless virtue signalling protesters are out in force I see.
If this weekend proves anything it's that the old adage rings true.
You catch more flies with honey then vinegar.
Monday morning and Ireland and its government approach has secured a lot of jobs for Irish citizens.
Ill take that over ineffective virtue signalling any day.
