Trump has claimed the Iranians are desperate for peace and has claimed 16 times over the past weeks that they are about to sign a deal and then they go and shoot down one of his helicopters. Who has got the cards now? The Iranians still have their regime, their ballistic missiles, their enriched uranium, and now contol traffic through Hormuz. They also now have the prestige of having survived an all out attack by two of the most powerful militaries in the world and are still standing.
