I don't know how you describe what Trump has. He is certainly not harmless. And he has managed to recruit a whole body of people who have the same world view as himself.

Dementia can exacerbate antisocial or sociopathic behaviour, lack of empathy and a load of other nasty traits through damage to the frontal and temporal lobes. There are loads of studies on the issue.
