One good thing (in general) is that voting is owned and controlled locally. The Feds don’t own it. Trump has belched recently at the Feds should control the elections because of “reasons”. And maybe he will gin up one of his fake emergencies. But I can tell you, having been an election judge, they there isn’t much time to do something since they are complicated to run. Trump could try to just cancel the midterms. But this has never been done in our history. People would treat that as a coup.

Hope you're right, Doc. Hard to have faith in it from here. I can see him cancelling them and the Democrats screaming that it's not fair, but not actually doing anything.
