Very true.
I'd have been surprised if there was demand from top tier club tbh. Idah need to cop on. How Norwich conned Celtic to part with £9m for him is unbelievable! His ex College Corinthians teammate at Grimsby looks a better player. Rest of them are decent pros who should make a living at the level they're at.
Hopefully O' Brien at Everton continues to impress and hopeful signs for Ferguson at Roma too after disastrous season last year. Kelleher should benefit from more game time this season. No signs of the next Giles, Brady or Keane emerging any time soon!
 
IMHO Glasner is entitled to dig his heels in, especially given they lost Eze

But...

- It won't be a good look if he jumps ship from Palace soon
- If Parish felt that strongly about not wanting Guehi to leave on a free he should've made sure the club were more on the front-foot earlier in the season. Or, at the very least, set a time in the window as a cut-off - given he's such a key player. Push the pressure back on to Liverpool to meet their valuation early enough for Palace to get a decent replacement

Yeah hope thing was badly handled. Some will say Liverpool could have bought him earlier in the summer but nothing wrong with trying to negotiate the best price for a player. Parish and Glasner should have been on the same page from day one with this.

Apparently he finished making his farewell video for the club and now that’s been leaked making him look fairly stupid. He’s apparently livid with the way the whole thing panned out. Can’t say I blame him. He didn’t put a foot wrong. He’ll probably just go back and play until January and hope Liverpool come knocking again. Seems like a very professional player, can’t see any toys being thrown out of the pram a la Isak.

With the under 21s playing Slovakia in Turner's Cross next week, one would have hoped to see Cathal Heffernan progressing to that level by now. He seems to be playing regularly for Newcasrle u-21s / reserves but not getting a look in with the first team. Would he be better off going on loan somewhere I wonder ?
