Training Run Times

I have worn the Adrenalines now for a few years and they are perfect for me aswell. I look on with some envy when I see some of the bouncy alternatives but they just wouldn’t work for me.
Ha that's exactly it. They're like runners the old yanks wear under their beige "slacks" on holidays, especially compared to the fancy ones.

I've the adrenaline as well. I'm a bit unsure about the newer version as they're definitely not as comfortable. However, they're still probably the best for me. I tried Vaporflys and they absolutely destroyed my calves. Tried on some carbons in the shop and the bit of gait analysis suggested they weren't for me. I'm not trying to break any records and my main aim really is to stay injury free so I'm not that fussed about super shoes.
Yeah, the guy in the store was half expecting the Adrenalines to be ruled off immediately as he was saying most of the wearers moved to the Glycerins. I tried those too and while they felt decent, my big toe felt cramped on one foot. I think the inside of the shoe is slightly thicker.

Tried a Saucony as well by far the widest but my heel felt like it was rolling backwards as if I was standing on a rubber ball. The Hoka Arahi's I had blistered bad there so they were skipped over. The last one was an Adidas and while it felt supportive, my foot felt like it was over the sole in a few places.

No more shin muscle pains today anyway!

A finite amount of miles is a great way of putting it.

The specialist said something similar to me about knee injuries and continuing to play rugby and it hit home massively.

Though running EVERY day was a bit excessive!

Well as someone who has seen the signs and eventually called it a day, to offset any future misery, it definitely resonates.

Got a Zwift compatible turbo trainer a few months back and at least I can use it to get my heart rate up a bit. And it’s not weather dependent which is another cluster fuck in PROC land.

Are you still battering the rower?

Atta boy Marky,

It doesn't matter a whole pile what you do just keep doing it
