A poor girl died ,

I was up there around the time with my little lad and heard people saying they saw someone getting cpr. Very sad news on an otherwise hugely positive day.

Jesus, my family tell me she was a swimmer, so I'm guessing Terrier might know her. 25, and did a full two weeks ago according to my sister. What the bloody hell was the issue then?

Could be undiagnosed heart issues as had happen to a close friend of mine.

But best not to speculate.

Yep, I think I posted here that last year a friend of mine survived a HM with a 99% blockage in the main heart artery, discovered because he wasn’t feeling well after the race. Absolute miracle he didn’t die at the race.. he’s training away no bother again since the stents and is now affectionately known as Heart Attack Dave in the group

He was always fit, not overweight etc etc - you never know what’s lurking in certain people
