Well, she didn't say much, to be honest, but she does have the oddest accent in Christendom.

Was a really good gig actually - Smog headlined, and it was all quite pleasant, in a folky sort of way.
 
her milk-eyed mender album is excellent. one of the best albums i've heard this year in fact. she's playing the sugar club in dublin on october 30th which is handy for me cos i've to be up there around that time anyway. looking forward to seeing her live.

you gonna fit all 25 minutes of this in jim? uber-respect! when i said joanna newsom's album was one of the best i've heard this year i meant that it's competing for second place behind white 2 of course. nothing compares to that shit. leap is gonna be unbelievably amazing. may have to give up gig-going after it.
