Toast

Milk + Water + Microwave + Seeds (and maybe sugar or jam on the weekend. Anne and Barry stylee.)
I do the microwave too. It's such a pity they weren't around when I was growing up, as scraping the saucepan put me off porridge for over 30 years.

I just put the flahavans in the bowl, water until it covers the flakes, the 1 min, stir and 1 more minute. I have it with my own brown bread and butter. I find that has its own sweetness.

🙂
It's freshly squeezed, natural juice which is lovely and healthy. Spanish oranges are wonderful.
Where in Spain did you go btw Gappy?
They certainly are.

We went to Málaga and stayed in the Centro Historico, and we're looking forward to going back. Normally we'd fly to Alicante or if Málaga we would go on to the resorts, but the city was fantastic, we had tapas for lunch and dinner !

Glad you enjoyed it.
Why didn't you pm me before you went?

I found that it depends. Some of the places around say where the Astoria tapas is, were pricey...10.90 for a vodka coke zero whereas El Jardin was €6 ! Tapas prices varied as well. El Jardin also do a menu del dia for 9 euros, but other stuff on their menu was pricey alright.
🤔
A lot of places in the centre focus on tourists so their prices are higher. I know some places near the city centre that are very good for price/quality Gappy.
That was very expensive for a vodka & coke. €6/7.00 is common enough in Plaza de La Merced which is popular with locals and tourists alike.

I'd gladly take any recommendations you had to offer (y) ?

Funnily enough, we walked along the side of Plaza de La Merced without realising it. We saw all those hoarding and thought it was just a construction site !

Most of those restaurants seem to be on the far side from where we walked.

The good bars and restaurants are on both sides of the square as you look up from that hoarding which only occupies a small part of it.
