THIS FFGg Government - the cockups continue

You're one to talk about bots with political agendas. Seems to me the only ones spamming here are those who continuously post the same images and gifs over and over without adding in any way to the reasoned debate.

Ye bots want to shut down reasoned debate on the continuing cock ups that this government has alas inflicted on the people of the country.

But instead of debating the pros and cons of the situation you and your fellow bots want to just stifle any debate or justified criticism.

There are some serious questions need to be answered on this jimmy.

How did a sanitizer that uses methanol rather than ethanol get approved first day by the Department of Agriculture?

As you say, what triggered the subsequent investigation into it?

Why, when the Dept of Agriculture knew on Tuesday and said it should be removed from use immediately were other Departments not notified?

Why did it take Department of Education and Skills until last night to be informed?

Who come up with the decision to allow schools to be closed if they couldn't source alternative sanitizers for today?

Where was the Minister for Health when all of this was happening and what was he doing given the cross-Department impact involved

An absolute fcuk up but where do we stand with sanitisers outside of
school? Kids will go training over the weekend in various sports , all organisations will now have to check their stock

Rather than discussing stuff about the current Government under some NEXT Government title I thought it might be more appropriate to discuss the cockups (and lord knows there have been many) under a relevant title.

Latest cockup is that much of the sanitizers used in Schools use methanol rather than ethanol.

This was discovered only recently by the Department of Agriculture despite the suppliers previously having gotten the go ahead to supply the schools.

But then on Tuesday the Dept of Agriculture said all use should stop immediately.

But it seems they only informed the Department of Education and Skills of this last night.

They sat on the information for more than 48 hours!!!!! Why??

Well there was also the breaking bad news that the Tracking process was not fit for purpose and they may not have wanted two bad stories the same day, or else they were just hiding it in the hope it might magically go away.
F**k knows why there was a delay but some Government Minister should be explaining it.

How the Faq can they expect full buy in when there's still so much corruption/incompetence/c0ckups/call it what you will going on?

Shinnerbot Volunteer Sound_y is a full time public servant taking a wage from the State on behalf of the citizens and spends his entire day every day on the INTERNET complaining why public services are failing.

We deserve better.

A chemical company based in Watergrasshill has kindly offered to replace all the defective stock with safe sanitiser.

Starts spam thread, accuses others of political agenda.

You're some muppet.

Probably best to give a summary at this stage so the thread has some context. So here it goes (I’m prob missing one or two big ticket issues because there have been so many fuckups in the space of 5 months that it’s hard to keep up):

- Program for government dithering during a pandemic
- parliamentary party wrangling and back stabbing in relation to ministerial jobs for the boys.
- Entitlement/ demands to keep ministerial cars and personal drivers, just cas their worth it like...at a cost of €2 mil per minister over 5 years.
- sleeping on the job during parliamentary voting on a bill for pay for the most vulnerable in society during the pandemic
- Party leadership contest (Green party) in the middle of a pandemic
- Drink driving agricultural minister and subsequent sacking (minister no. 1 to get the boot)
- Oireachtas golfing catering for the elite in society breaking national Covid restrictions. This permeated all elitist classes such as political parties, judiciary, banking and finance and led to numerous sackings such as another agricultural minister (minister no. 2)
- Mishandling of leaving cert results, changing the goal posts re: grading criteria at the last minute due to reverberations from the cock up in the U.K. then blaming the engineering company for the algorithm mistakes
- Communications shit show, with political gaming and snake oil salesman approaches to critical public health messaging to the population
- Nursing home Covid death crisis
- Lambasting the NPHET
- pay increases for every grade of minister, some pay increases 4 times the level of inflation
- hiring of advisors on 6 figure salaries, so much so that they are coming through the wood work. What the hell are they advising because the whole setup has gone to shit. I’d be looking to fire them and get any remuneration back...they didn’t/haven’t done their job. Are they advising on direction of policy for the good of the citizens or how to build a roadmap on how to compete and win next election??
- Cutting of PUP and then u-turning to increase it again.
- Sealing of women’s personal data re: mother and baby homes....in direct breach of GDPR law.
