Saw a post saying at tonight's council meeting there were due to be 4 motions calling for works to stop, one motion was withdrawn, the other 3 were defeated,

That’s my point. The public reps were not fully behind them respite some making out that they were. Those resident should show some dignity and stop the protest and obstruction of works.

The world won’t fall in when they get a cycle lane.

It is reported Kenneth Collins proposed that all works stop until a mediator is appointed, That was voted down, Valerie O Sullivan said
she dodnt see the need for an outside mediator, Collins is playing both sides here, Noel Flynn also proposed a cease in work, Again that was voted down
Other CLLRS withdrew a similar motion, This morning the protestors posted photos of the site foremen, I certainly dont agree with that,

Poor form.. thats a guy doing his job, thats all. He would have had absolutely no part to play in the planning of any of the works.
