Who Killed WCW is well worth a watch if wrestling is your thing, I really enjoyed it
Imo, Malice in the Palace is probably the best of the Untold seriesThe Sign Stealer was decent but it’s very American that the whole thing became such a big scandal when there wasn’t a whole pile in it as such. They love the drama over there. Much preferred the docs about The Swamp Kings and Johnny Football. College football is insane!
If you take it on the basis of Hope Solo doc, it's pretty good but I agree it titled incorrectlythe hope solo one was pretty shit tbh.
hope solo v us soccer yet there was about fifteen minutes on that actual event. the rest was her going on about her upbringing and career.
i thought it was strange enough that the mother was as good as airbrushed out of it. she kept going on about the backing of her family but the focus was on the dad.
in fairness, i wouldn’t take anything away from what she’s achieved but it wasn’t a great documentary.

Watched first episode, it’s excellent.Game 7 is a new series on Prime - focusing on some classics in the "best of 7" approach that a lot of American sports competitions take to deciding an overall winner of a pennant or championship.

Episode 1 went deep into the eponymous game 7 of the pennant decider between the Yankees and the Red Sox in 2003. It's standard format - action and closeups from the games in the series interspersed with media reports from the time and interviews with the protagonists. It's compelling stuff though - and whether intentionally or not, it manages to convey something of what baseball means to Americans.
