The sport that I enjoy and once participated in is better than the sport that you enjoy.

How could it not be. You never participated in the sport that I enjoy.

The sport that I enjoy, is more skillful and demands a greater level of decision making and fitness than the sport that you enjoy.

The sport that you enjoy is has been infiltrated by ne'r do Wells and the players participate in exceptional levels of shit housery.

The referees in the sport that you enjoy are too pernickety not like the sport that I enjoy and the rules are too complex for me to understand although I admit to never attempting to understand them because I do not enjoy the sport that you enjoy.

I have never participated in the sport that you enjoy but I did watch it once in a pub.

The other people watching it in the pub were pricks.

The sport that you enjoy is played, and enjoyed, by people who are low brow and have little appreciation for, or understanding of, the nuances of high brow sport, like the sport that I enjoy. I feel an equal measure of contempt and pitying sympathy for players and supporters of the sport that you enjoy. Enjoying and playing the sport that I enjoy makes me and my fellow enjoyers superior to the people who play and support the sport that you enjoy.

I get very angry if the pub is showing the sport you enjoy instead of some minor game involving the sport I enjoy.

Excuse you, I've been attending sporting events of the sport that you enjoy for over 40 years.

it's no longer the same as it used to be so I no longer enjoy it.

But I am more knowledgeable on it than you are. Even though it's gone to shit.
