For one night only, The Roundy Laughs gets all spooky with our Halloween Howls Comedy gig on Friday 31st October.
We are delighted to announce we have secured the most original breakthrough comedy show of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival . This is a big coup for the Roundy Laughs as Aidan is fresh from his sold out performance in Dublin’s Sugar Club where he shot his new live DVD. Literally hundreds of people packed into this awesome venue to be part of this recording!
Aidan Killian’s "Jesus Versus Buddha" was the show comedians were queuing up to see at Edinburgh. It received rave reviews including a glowing 4 star review from the prestigious UK comedy website Chortle!
So Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies and just plain old regular folk who like to chuckle……. come along to the Roundy for a frighteningly good time!!!!!!
Some info on Aidan and the show:
Aidan quit investment banking in Tokyo to "save this world one laugh at a time." He has sold out theatres in New York, 'Leicester Square Theatre', performed all over Asia and he is the only comedian to have done a 'Sitting Room' tour of Ireland. He has been described as "Brave and Enlightening", compared to Russell Brand and his conscious comedy inspired the audience to a spontaneous giant group hug at Electric Picnic. As chortle wrote "tremendously engaging" and you will see "nothing else compare with this." - Chortle
'Jesus Versus Buddha' is a 50 minute comedy show described as "raw and stimulating" and "has probably more ideas and philosophy crammed into it than 100 other shows put together. It’s brimming, chaotic, digressive and smart." - Chortle. Aidan has investigated the lives of Jesus and Buddha, compares their essence and brings their words into today's world. The show is empowering, spiritual and hilarious and it attracted teenagers to pensioners; anarchists to church-goers who "laughed throughout" the sold out gigs at 'The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014.'
And as always there will be top class support acts on at The Roundy Laughs on the night!!!!!!
