If I was Con Dennehy I'd be calling my solicitor and getting ready for the easiest open and shut case ever.
They've essentially massively devalued his pub. If he wanted to sell the place he'd never attract a buyer, knowing that the place could be levelled in a few years.
Although knowing our government they'd probably offer him way over the odds for the place if they needed to aquire it. They cant just tell him to get out.
Does Con actually own the bar or is he just leasing it?
Property in the area around a Luas is likely to rise in price I think, after the initial fall due to 10 years of road-works, dust, dirt, and noise
