2:19 for Mona in 200Brs at the World Cup meet last night. An Irish record and - almost as important - a new PB for Mona (obvs), Great to see her on the move again.

Meanwhile, Breezer is among us. Olympian, European meadalist and top TV analyst, Andrew Bree is spending the weekend coaching the squads at Dolphin. Class session from him this morning for the seniors at 05:30.

5.30am on a Saturday.
Mother of God. The swimmers have a tough life when it comes to training.

That;s a sign of our ambition Guapo. He's outstanding and even our elite swimmers - national champions - are eating out of his hand. You'd nearly be hopping into the pool yourself listening to him. BpT taxis are ferrying him around for the weekend so I'm getting lots of imparted wisdom(y)

LOL, he turned down the chance to come running with me and the lads in the morning though.

Aaah fuck
Banned for life from all swimming / coaching /teaching / officialdom... everything. It's a big step.

He has 21.82 for the 50 free - WR is 20.91 (unbroken since 2009). So, he needs 0.92 sec to nail the $1MM. Doesn't seem like much but it's a big chasm to bridge.

For the record, 21.82 would have made the semi in Paris and would have scored 12th overall. Tom Fannon was 10th with 21.74. Our boy Cam McEvoy won it with 21.25

Knocking off almost a second in 50m sounds massive. This will certainly give us an indication of how PE PEDs are!
