How many of the megaspend got to play a meaningful part?
Fernandes came on at -3. It was daft playing Tonali, Bergvall and Gallagher as a 3 against Brentford, if both Fernandes and Bentancur were fit enough to start.
Porro, van de Ven, Fernandes, Savinho and Marmoush (pending no transfer faux pas) all due to come straight into the team. The likes of Udogie, Maddison, Solanke and Kudus are probably somewhere there or thereabouts. Kulusevski and eventually Xavi Simons to give some more technical ability when they come back.
I expected a hard game today, although I didn't expect the Brentford domination from start to finish. I'm nowhere near panicking.
