The Official Spurs thread

His Brighton side built by Graham Potter?
The team was actually built by David Weir, Paul Barber & Tony Bloom if you want to get technical about it but that isn't what I was referring too.

Like I said originally, go watch the football Brighton played during that spell.

I think De Zerbi is a very good coach and good appointment for Spurs at this point in time, if you disagree that's fine!

Where did he leave Marseille?

10 points behind RC Lens?

I'd have mixed feelings about de Zerbi. He can coach a team to play some excellent football when he has the right players but he's also a fiery character who'll cause trouble if things aren't going his way.

With Spurs being so famous for backing their coaches, nothing could possi-blye go wrong.

Also, if Tony Bloom fell out with him, I'd put a fair amount of stock in that.

I assume he'll have a get-out clause if relegation happens.

My brother and the old man are Spurs diehards.

For Christmas, the brother bought the old man (and himself) tickets to one of the upcoming home games because my dad hasn't been over to a match in a long time. The brother goes to as many home games as he can manage.

This was all organised in December, the brother not thinking that Spurs would be in a relegation dogfight come April.

I met the two of them for breakfast the other day and asked my oul fella if he was looking forward to it.

"I am." he said, smirking "I'll be able to hand my CV in to them in person".

The brother piped up "I forgot to say that we're doing a tour of the ground the next day. Part of the package - dressing room, tunnel and there's even a skywalk thing around the the top of the stadium".

"Oh good" said the old man "if they lose the match, I can throw myself off the roof."

Start arranging the funeral, I'd say.
