The Official Spurs thread

Spurs a great club with a rich history, I certainly wouldn’t like to see them go down.

I think they will stay up and if they do they need to completely rip up what they have been doing over the past few years and start again.

Poch back after the World Cup if they do stay up maybe?

Not sure about them staying up. Pool away in their next game followed by a huge game against Forest.

They’ve a tough run on the way. I think they’ll go down. They’re a mess.

I agree with you, I think they are in serious trouble.

Apparently West Ham have the toughest remaining fixtures out of any team in the league and that might save Sp*rs bacon but the other two teams look more up for the fight.

Agreed. There isn't one team of the 19 I'd see them beating at the moment, to be honest. They might scrape a win or two somewhere if things work out but they could just as easily go winless or not get enough wins to survive.

One of two narratives will likely prevail

- With only 9 games to go the tangible threat of relegation will kick in and it'll shock Spurs theoretically* higher quality squad into rescuing the sitation
- Unlike the teams around them Spurs have no recent muscle memory of a relegation battle (and had no expectation to be in one) and that'll be their downfall

* I say theoretical because they have a huge amount of quality players out injured (now & all season tbh). There's individual quality amongst those who are left, but the play is so disjointed & confidence is rock bottom

From a Leeds point of view there is not one spurs player i would want to sign,
