Reset in August lads, see where we end up....

I don't think that's any harm. Ange got lucky results-wise for the first ten games and never lived up to it (Europa run aside). Looking back at the Robbie Williams song and all that is fairly cringe now.Last three managers lasted 2 years. Frank has a tough pre-season (if he comes).
Didn’t start well at either Brondby/Brentford. Need to work his magic on this existing squad. Pressure will be huge (Nuno became extremely agitated in pressers). Levy is a penny pinching kunt. This board will never provide a squad good enough to compete on all fronts.
What is the requisite at the beginning of the season? Another two years, another sacking. I hope Postecoglou comes back to haunt them.
regardless of results??? Have seen this online from other Spurs fans - statements like 10th would be a massive improvement in his first year, no it wouldn't. CL qualification and a trophy is the bare minimum.

I'll be looking very closely at how the team is performing, regardless of results. A distinctive style, control and dominance of games, and no chaos, would be a good start. Results should follow then, if they don't happen from the start.
Cl qualification the bare minimum?? Is Levy giving him a £300m transfer budget?regardless of results??? Have seen this online from other Spurs fans - statements like 10th would be a massive improvement in his first year, no it wouldn't. CL qualification and a trophy is the bare minimum.
Look at what I was specifically responding to. The words "start" and "beginning" are optimal.regardless of results??? Apologies if it came across as aggressive, not remotely the intent. Wouldn't dream of it.Look at what I was specifically responding to. The words "start" and "beginning" are optimal.
I won't be freaking out if he's not beating Palace or Bournemouth handily from the start. I don't get your aggression on this. It's like you want him to fail or something, and it's weird that CL qualification and a trophy are a must just because Ange got sacked doing that.
Not towards me. I've been far more aggressive than that myself, and had it given back to me in spades by plenty of posters here. I meant that you came across as aggressively pointing out that Frank must do x because Ange did y, when all that's happening is a changing of the guard and a fresh start. The new guy doesn't have to be judged against the old guy.Apologies if it came across as aggressive, not remotely the intent. Wouldn't dream of it.
It would be fine to "kick on from Bilbao" if there was a solid base to do it from. The fact is that Ange was a giant contradiction unto himself. League form is in the hole, and has been really for about the last 66 of those. He completely abandoned his principles to win the Europa League, but that kind of approach won't win you games week in week out in the PL. So, how do you kick on? They'd probably get slaughtered in the CL, and they might still do anyway under Frank, and the league has suddenly become a hell of a lot harder with Newcastle and Villa joining the party, with a host of previously nothing clubs who are now acting fairly smartly all round. Kicking on is grand in theory but I just don't see where the divine right to do it comes in, under Ange or anybody else. But that whole thing is precisely what Ange was trying to change. Accepting less. I do not want Frank to fail. Posted above 2 or 3 times, must get behind him. But they also must kick on from Bilbao, do more. Otherwise sacking Ange was (is in my view) a huge mistake.
