The Official Spurs thread

Expected that game to playout once I saw the team sheet. Perked up when Galatasary had the man advantage. Team had a shocker for the most, Forster kept the score respectable but also made some insane choices playing out from the back .

Realistically game should have been dead and buried, an added 10 minutes we’d have equalised. Turks play such a high line, there for the taking with a competent side.

Postecoglou is only going to find out what the squad is capable of by playing them. Can’t have a dig at the manager for the way the players performed. Blatant fouls committed on Solanke and Kulusevski in the final third which the referee choose to ignore.

Players who want to be selected must compete for 90 minutes plus and run like dogs, the teacups can have a natter on the bench regarding hair products and Love Island.

Bergvall/Dragusin will need time to settle, for me it’s two seasons then I jump ship.

This is huge for Ipswich if they can hold on. Would bring them out of the bottom 3.

Spurs well capable of mounting a comeback. Loads of time. Ipswich might well need a third.

Delap's xG was 0.99 for the goal. I'd like to see some of the chances missed from that situation. Vaguely recall one scooped over the bar years back.

By my count Ipswich had 4 attacks and scored twice.
Son started brightly but there's clearly an issue there.
75% + possession and Ipswich keeper makes 2 saves.

Can they redeem it? Yes.

But why in the name of all that's good and holy must it be this hard.....home v Ipswich......United 2 up, Forest 1 up.....it's really hard to keep the faith sometimes
