The Official PROC Restaurant review thread.

I'll take your word for it, have never eaten in the Douglas one.

Koto was shite the only time I was in there

This is what I said at the time about GE

The Douglas one is better, probably the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand

The lady Fon and her husband that own are actual Thais which helps on the authenticity and they make all their own paste in house from scratch which she has told me everytime I’ve been there

That shithole?

My custom went out the door when the O'Connor ownership did

Owners of the South County right now.

We were in Soul tonight. Savage food, in fairness.

I had mac n cheese croquettes, beef rib and pecan pie
Himself had lamb croquettes, pulled pork burger and pecan pie.

2 beers, 1 diet coke, 2 coffees €114 ex tip

8/10

Points deducted because the pecan pie was a little too sweet. Apart from that, no complaints.

Was in there once and wasn’t impressed.

Had the jerk chicken on the bone, tiny little piece of chicken I got that was more bone than meat and an inedible side salad.

Maybe I just got them on a bad day as I’ve heard good reports on their breakfast

Very tasty for that kind grub.

5 of us shared 2 plates of wings and one order of a deep fried meatball thing.

mains were that pulled pork thing or chicken yoke (we just happened to order that way In a 2/3 split)

nice I thought. sides were excellent

Bottles of beer for 7.20 was rich though

After the talk of Golden Elephant here last night I treated my beloved missus to a Thai takeaway we enjoyed while watching the CL final.

GE is still the GOAT and il double down on my statement that it’s the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand.

The Penang curry is phenomenal, herself had masaman, shared a portion of rice and noodles

28 quid for the lot was good value as the portions are a good size
