I was feeling adventurous last night so ordered beef tartar in a place for dinner.

It's such an unusual thing. It tasted great, but the whole time I was asking myself "wtf am I eating?".

Surely raw beef can't be good for you?

Well I can confirm, it isn't good for me. I spent a prolonged period in the jacks when I got back to the hotel.

Oddly though I'd have it again. The taste was incredible.

Have you tried beef carpaccio? It's one of my favourite starters. I have not had tartare yet
 
Golden Elephant McCurtain street

Tried the McCurtain street one and thought it wasn’t a patch on the douglas one.

Maybe it was what i had but i’d certainly give it another go. What did ye have yourselves?

Koto Kitchens is ok but i just think the City is missing a “knock out” of a Thai Restaurant.

I love Saba in Dublin.

I'll take your word for it, have never eaten in the Douglas one.

Koto was shite the only time I was in there
