The Oarsman. It's around a 10 minute walk, just across the river. I had dinner there with my aunt recently before a gig in the 3Arena - it's a bar/restaurant but to a very high standard in terms of food and service

Probably. We will be driving from Cork and probably not arriving with huge time before gig.

Heading to see Paul Simon. Really excited for it.

There's Ruby's grill and a Eddie Rockets right outside the entrance.
Not exactly fine dining but if it's just a case of filling the belly..

Been in a few times to Dwyers on Washington Street for Lunch. At €15 or €16 you might think it a bit pricey but the food there is gorgeous and there's plenty of it.

Would recommend their Eggs Benedict or Green Goddess Chicken Salad but they've a few more good chicken in buttermilk batter dishes. Worth a look I think.

And all served by a very friendly and efficient staff.
