I didn't like the schnitzel. It wasn't a schnitzel like, it was just a piece of breaded chicken with chorizo and a bit of sauce fucked on top. Schnitzel should be beaten down and completely flat.

Finally though, after years of me requesting it, they have hired a few hot waitresses.

Alright Mr Vienna, it might not be a genuine schnitzel but it’s tasty.

There's one in particular I'd be very fond of.

However, her being around half my age and me being married make it very unlikely that she's going to give me anything other than the food I've ordered.

Make your move, if you want to sleep with this young woman then you must display confidence and courage. Do not get drunk, look her straight in the eye and engage her in conversation. Dress to impress, women are more likely to engage if you are presentable. Wear your best cologne.

Can anyone shine any light on the following - I tried to book a restaurant online for Feb - could not book more than 1 month ahead.. so I rang them - and only 1 time slot available for the date in Feb I wanted...
So why do they limit booking online? just as well I didn't wait till it would be within the month

I had dinner in Blackrock Castle last night.

Ballycotton smoked salmon for starter, and monkfish for mains. It was a set menu but some really interesting options on there. One thing I didn't like, and it's the main reason I don't like Market Lane, is how much they overcomplicate the menu. You'd need Google open to figure out what is actually in the dishes.

The fish was absolutley top class. I haven't had monkfish in a long time but it's one of my favorites, and it was cooked perfectly. Unusually for a set menu, there was a steak. There was an €8 surcharge and much to the alarm of the person watching the numbers, pretty much everyone in our group ordered it.

Nice location, excellent friendly staff and service. €17 in a taxi from town down to the front door, which I found very reasonable.

As an added bonus we went to the Pier Head first for a pint, and Peter O'Mahoney was in there.
