I haven't been there. I was never gone on it as a space, even though I liked the food in Idaho.

Has anybody been to the place that replaces the Idaho Cafe ?

Went there for coffee and scones on a midweek morning about a month ago.

It was really nice. Quiet at that time and we only had scones. My young fella had pancakes and they were nice too.

Hardly the kind of thing you'd be hanging your hat on for a recommendation but it was nice and we said at the time we'd go back.

Weirdly the Google reviews for that place are overwhelmingly positive whilst the trip advisor ones are negative and especially seem to single out the owner… I guess there is nothing to stop rivals or people with a grudge leaving bad reviews.

Worth checking reviewers past contribution on TA. If none or maybe just one or two, chances are person has an agenda.
Can work both ways - common enough for owners of new bar or restaurant to ask friends/families to leave glowing reviews!!
