A few basic takeaways

- Arsenal's defensive performances look to be the main differentiating factor enabling them to go toe-to-toe with City
- Newcastle are getting things right at both ends and are well worth their current position
- Man Utd are bang average at both ends
- If Liverpool are to nick a CL spot the defence has to improve
- Although they're bottom, if Wolves get some attacking power in the door in January they'll probably pull themselves to saftey and leave Bournemouth & Forest drift back to the Championship
- West Ham (...or more accurately, Moyes) could be in trouble if they don't continue to keep it tight at the back
