The Official Premier League 2026/27 Thread

I figured the great sporting minds of the PROC could see this one home for me..

I entered last man standing in the club and the youngfella picks each week while I pay no attention.. the league cleared out fast because of 2 results one of the weeks so he is down to the last 3 already with a pot of €500
He has used Chelsea Arsenal Man City, and Brighton last week. He's thinking of Forrest this week to keep up the policy of backing against Coventry
His other thought was Leeds but he wanted a home team, and he wont back Liverpool or Utd because he says they are too flaky

I know the sum total of nothing about betting - is he on the ball this weekend?

No body here knows anything about betting either m8!

I'd probably go Forest too

I'm genuinely not being snarky Honky m8, but betting is not about predicting the future. No one can do that. The amount of volatility that can happen when 22 men, a load of subs, and 7 or 8 match officials get together to kick a pigs bladder around a pitch is beyond crazy. As one guy I read said, we're all just guessing, some of us are guessing better than others, but still guessing.

Saying all that, in this kind of competition, I'd be getting on Forest too.

You're basically left with Spurs, Everton or Forest.

I think Spurs will beat Villa tomorrow, but it's obvious that not too many last man standing punters would want to be trusting that. Everton, pretty much the same.

Forest should probably get it done alright, although Coventry due a bit of luck with their finishing.

All good, I like the idea of betting against coventry to date, makes sense.. but the logical bit of my head says that every team gets a break or a bit of good luck along the way and its unlikely they will lose a 5th in a row, although they are yet to score. Glazners teams are always well structured so I'd expect Forrest to do it by a goal or two alright, and they're home
