Another day of utterly shite ball in the premiershit.
Arsenal might be the worst for it, but the rest of them aren't much better tbh.
Are you willing to bet it's a phase and wait it out or would you be looking for fundamental rule changes?
There's a school of thought that says today's football is an inevitable effect of the money in the PL.
Regarding fundamental rule changes I'm talking along the lines of for example a team must have x players in the opposition half at all times. Adjust the offside rule accordingly.
I know the offside rule was to prevent goal hanging but it seems goal hanging might be something to be encouraged now (within reason).
Or what about some sort of bonus points system that rewards positive football? UFC will award a drawn round to the chaser for example. Very subjective though but Rugby also has benefited massively from bonus points.
Extra point or half point for 3 goals regardless of your results for example.
