The Official Premier League 2025/26 Thread

I'd say Micah wasted an awful lot of his earnings from his football career.

Hes doing work on Sky, BBC, CBS, a couple of podcasts., League of their own and any appearance he can find by the looks of it.

He's not there to offer insight. He's there for his personality and the contrast to the "serious" pundits which plenty of people seem to like or he wouldn't keep getting work! If viewing figures were down, Micah would be gone.

It was interesting last night both Liverpool and Newcastle seemed to be repeatedly penalised on their own corners. I guess the current PL rules of engagement don't transfer into Europe.

I watched Villa last week vs Chelsea and despite losing and being on a horrible run, Villa did something very clever defending corners. They kept 4 up and obviously Chelsea had to keep 4 or 5 back. It stopped the overcrowding of the goalkeeper and obviously disrupted Chelsea's planned routines.

Chelsea won the game but it was definitely effective.

That seems to have caught on alright. It was done against Arsenal before that I'm sure, possibly by Chelsea and it was used in the Championship / lower league last week also.
