The Official Premier League 2024/25 Thread

Revisiting this with one round of games to go.

----------------- Sels

Munoz
----- Milenkovic -- VVD - Robinson

---- Mac Allister --- Gravenberch

----------------Bruno F.

Salah ----------- Isak --------- Mbeumo

Those in bold are changes from my mid-season view.

A few who were just shy of my XI -> Konate, Caicedo, Rice, Palmer, Cunha
Robinson from Fulham and Lacroix at Palace are worth a shout too.

Tonali has been consistently solid also. Hope he hasn't backed himself for TOTS.

I've got him in my XI. Not much between him and Kerkez, but Robinson is joint 4th on the assist chart - no mean feat from full-back. Lewis-Skelly also had a great breakthrough season.

Tonali has been consistently solid also.

He's been good alright. I'd probably have Rice ahead of him, if I were to drop any of my three

Hope he hasn't backed himself for TOTS.

Ah nothing wrong with the odd flutter...right...right..? Oh.

Always lovely to see City end the season trophy less.

Liverpool
Newcastle
Crystal Palace
Spurs

Some drought broken by Newcastle, Palace and Spurs.

It really is.

Beyond the top 4-6 clubs, far too much focus has been on nudging up a place or two in the league - at the expense of having a proper go at cup competitions.

You can understand why, but those cup final wins for those three will be landmark moments for all three clubs. Far more, for example, than Spurs 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the mid 2010s.
