The official opening and closing businesses thread

It seems to be an almost daily occurrence now that small businesses in Cork are announcing their closure.

Positively, some are also opening or expanding.

Let's keep track of what's going on in this thread.

Today I have read of two businesses closing.

Auntie Nellie's sweet shops are closing their stores in Cobh and Carrigaline

And

The French Tacos place in Paul Street is also closing, citing the difficult trading environment.

I fear this could be a busy thread in the coming year, but hopefully there will also be positives.

Blackrock GAA closing down
In fairness, they held on for a long time.. I remember the good auld days going in there as a young fella and giving them desperate beatings.
2 chaps from up the country, a Seamus McEnmeme and a Conor McAnus are going providing accommodation there to Drs for the Mahon hospital and Engineers that will finally fix Dunkettle once and for all
