The official mobile phone thread

Cheers HBB, tbh i'd like the continuity of the HTC, and the lack of the SD card would not deter me,

As i said the 150M internal mem on the Desire was a pain as the main apps i use (FB, yahoo mail, whatsappand the play apps) will not go on the shagging SD card!!! So as long as the phone memory issue is sorted then i'm happy enough to go with the HTC One.

so my next question would be how easy or hard is it to move my contacts/texts/apps over to the HTC one?

Are you aware of HTC's big of crapware that does this?

Perhaps crapware is a bit cruel, but it'll do the job pretty easily and quickly.

Hi lads, just wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to get a screen replaced on a HTC and where a good place to get it done would be?

looks like i'll be using that "crapware" on Monday,

just ordered the HTC one, 150e on billpay with Vodafone,

The One X, I presume.

The only criticism I have of it is that it's a bit expensive, but if you're happy with the deal, then I think you've probably got the best phone out there at the moment (that's not LTE, which is useless in Ireland anyway). Camera is better than the S4 in low light. Just about wins it for me.

I should have been working on that phone...

The new Nokia 520 looks like a seriously good phone for the money:
