They are so fucking shit that they had to rebrand themselves from PGMOL to ProRef because they have such a bad reputation but they are still being run by that fucking twat Howard Webb.

My guess is that they just shit themselves under pressure, and forget about some aspect of the rules.

If you had no VAR today, a linesman is making that call as offside without hesitation.

No faff, everybody moves on.

This is mind boggling.

This wasn't even a marginal call. Even the most stupid BMs on here (think of any SSB) would have got this right.

How can any manager have any faith in VAR again. It's one thing when a ref or linesman gets a marginal decision wrong but a supposedly highly qualified official gets this so badly wrong.

The VAR officials must have seen Enzo try to head the ball and the impact that had on Licha. In fact, they confirmed that they reviewed whether Enzo made contact and awarded the goal because they deemed there was no contact.

The only conclusion possible IMO - is that the VAR Officials on duty didn't know the rules on offside.

If they don't know the rules then who can say that all other VAR Officials know the rules ?

This will cause big trouble IMO - I think VAR should be suspended until this matter is reviewed and confidence can be restored.

This fuck up could decide the title and/or ECL places - It's a complete cluster fuck

That's making a presumption that this is possible.

I wouldn't be saying it's acceptable either, nor that something different shouldn't be tried, but I think this idea that they simply go out and find this solution in the morning is fairly wild.
