Now I'm telling you Stiller would be a good signing to sit deep and play progressive passes to Bruno who would then be free from those shackles.

With Kone and Santos able to break up play and having Mainoo back to his best it would give us great options in midfield.

Like do ye want Bruno to win a league or not. I'm trying to free him up for ye to keep ye happy like.

Very good player and a leader which is important. Won’t need adapting to the league either.

But he is 29 and isn’t blessed with great speed as it is so don’t be shocked if his form randomly drops off a cliff in a year or two. Good signing though for now and probably won’t cost that much but didn’t see a fee mentioned.

35 million is a fairly good fee in this day and age. He will definitely have at least 2/3 good years in him. I like him as a player, brings moments of real quality and is brave on the ball.

United also need to bring depth to their squad and every player you sign can’t cost upwards of £50m so being able to find a few for less to add bulk, experience and quality is very good work. A bit left field but they’re often the best ones.
