No chance it was a red card. The game is gone. There was a bit of a battle, pulling and dragging as they competed for the ball and he’s very, very meekly made a bit of a grab at DCL’s pony tail. He didn’t even grab it. More so brushed through it.

I know they’ll just say all offences like that are a red but that was never a red. Violent conduct is a red but that wasn’t violent. You’ll have managers encouraging players to grow their hair long to try bait red cards if that’s given a red on the regular.

It actually woke United from their slumber though so I don’t think it can be used as an excuse. United arguably deserved a draw with 10 men but Leeds should have been out of sight before that.

All Katie McCabe's fault - she got away with a much more obvious red card few weeks back when she pulled back opponent by the hair, saying she tried to grab her shirt!! Ref got a slap on the wrist afterwards for not showing red.

tbh goldbridge has been talking more sense than the likes of mitten and whitwell the last few weeks. turned on talk of the devils and they were offering 3 weeks off as an excuse for getting destroyed by leeds. turned it off. that first half is the most shots on target theyve conceded in a half since the 5 nil at home to liverpool. leeds had one away win all season before monday.no way they should give it to carrick.
