The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

I thought this was on the level until "Built a clear 3-4-3 identity"

😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😅😅😅
It was an interesting post comparing Amorim and Carrick.

The 343 identity was wrt his time at Sporting.

The point he's making about fans/club not enduring a bit of pain to get there in the long term was also valid.

United were playing some decent football this season under Amorim. Yes there were still problems but it was trending upwards.

United lose one game under Carrick and lads are back pining for Amorim.

Not saying Carrick is the long-term answer.

But Amorim definitely wasn't the answer!
Bang on. Carrick obviously isn’t the answer long term but using Amorim’s achievements in Portugal is sad.
He was a very average manager who at times looked like a really bad manager.

I’m convinced the turnaround is far more due to buying some good players and very little to do with any changes Amorim made.

You're right.

Look at how Brenteta walked into Bumnal and instantly made them Title contenders.
