It again highlighted the deficiencies in the squad. As good as the first few games were, Carrick was going to be judged at the end of the season. We knew this.

Click to expand... I think we will likely finish 5th, which is probably where we would have finished with Amorim. Our fullbacks are completely ordinary and offer next to nothing going forward. Maguire is ok as part of a back three but in a back four he drags the whole line back and kills quick attacks by taking forever to release the pass.
