The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

Premier league experienced. His Brighton team played great football.

Again though probably a non starter as he isnt a yes man type.

How could any candidate take promises made by INEOS seriously after what went on with Amorim.
That's another reason it'll probably be Carrick. Unless Carlo wants one last crack off club management and sees Utd as a viable option, there's not a top coach around that wouldn't choose the oil clubs as a better option.

De Zerbi parted ways with OM.

Would the reds here have him?

Stink of Spurs of him in fairness
Nah, I'd rather give it to Carrick unless a proven winner like the names mentioned are available.
What Carrick is doing is a tougher task than keeping the likes of Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton relevant these lads can drop points four games on the bounce and fly under the radar.

I think people were getting carried away after beating City and Arsenal.

Uniteds squad depth is non existent. Sesko the only bit of attacking quality on the bench and should have started imo.

You cant play the same eleven every week and they just looked flat.

Not doing any business in January was madness. Villa brought Abraham and Douglas Luiz to try and secure top four. We are still relying on a 34 year old who looked utterly gassed in the final 20 mins with his second almost full 90 in 4 days.

Mainoo played a good ball for the offside but he was completely asleep letting Soucek past him for the opener.

Theyve the weakest squad of the sides in the top six. Another couple of injuries and we are going to really struggle.
Yerrahh shhtop willu! Is this the Kerry thread?

Same results against West Ham as the home game but I have watched United’s last few games and they’re a much better side now. They’re passing the ball around slickly, committing men forward and look a real threat. The way they pinned West Ham in to find an equaliser is exactly what top teams do. They find a way.

Their squad is only built for domestic comps and they don’t even have the cups to contend with now, hence the bench not being so strong but they have a settled team now that they can mostly keep the same from here until May and that’s something other clubs around them can’t do. They look a very good bet for top 4 and Carrick doesn’t just appear to have their respect but he also knows what he’s doing, not bluffing based around counter attacking like Ole did.

Lol.

If Casimero and/or Bruno get injured United are doomed. Be lucky to get top half.

If they don't, they have a chance, a good one. Utd have a good 14 or 15, beyond that it's sparse.
